The URL is automatically generated based on the title of your page.

Let’s have a look at an example:

Your site: www.embl.org/groups/smith

If you now add a new page called ‘Services’, the permalink for it will look as follows:

www.embl.org/groups/smith/services

If you want to add a sub-page under ‘Services’ like:

www.embl.org/groups/smith/services/example

you need change the parent page in the Page attributes settings.

How to add a subpage:

1. Add a new page.
2. Navigate to the Parent Page field under Page Attributes in the settings sidebar on the right side. By default it will display (no parent).
3. Select a desired page from the dropdown menu. 
4. Publish or update the page.
