How to add a new blog post:

1. To write a new blog post, click on ‘Posts’ in the administration menu. 

2. Next to the title, click the button ‘Add New’.

3. Add blocks to create content. 

5. When you are ready, you can either save the post, Preview it, or Publish.

How to delete a post:

1. Click on ‘Posts’ in the administration menu:

2. Navigate to the post you want to delete and hover over the title. You should see the links: ‘Edit’, Quick Edit’, ‘Trash’ and ‘View’. Trash is in red.

3. Click ‘Trash’. This moves your blog post into the trash where it is always retrievable unless you delete it permanently.

4. To restore your blog post, Click on the ‘Trash’ navigation link next to ‘All’ at the top of the table of blog posts.

How to remove the blog from the navigation menu:

If you decide you don’t want a blog for your group or team then you should remove it from the site’s navigation menu.

1. In the administration menu, click on Appearance > Menus.

2. Find the menu item Blog and click the arrow to reveal options.

3. Click Remove.

Note:

Following those steps won’t delete the blog or the blog posts. It only removes the link in the navigation. You can always add it again.
